Toxic Waste Sites
Raising Community Awareness
Toxic waste sites don’t develop overnight. It takes decades, often starting when a company dumps toxic wastes, then sells or leaves the site without exposing the dangers that have led to public health hazards. Determining who is to blame and who is going to clean it up can be a lengthy process. In Jersey City, NJ and McCookfield in Dayton, OH, we sought out current and former residents to notify them of their potential exposure and let them know where they could find help.
